It is beautiful early summer Sunday morning and I want to talk about the book called "Thorn Birds" which written by an Australian woman writer, Collen McCullough, around the year 1975.

Even though only a paper-covered book, that book gave me so much pleasure that could not put it down, since then I try to get most of the books written by her and read and I adore her and her country very much.

As well because of that book, I made up my mind one day I really want to visit the continent when I am free from my work and when I could afford to go there. The moment came around the year 2015.

It took me almost 40 years to accomplish my wish to visit there, yet, my husband keeps saying that Australia is similar to Canada, why do you want to visit all the way there?

However, we went around the end of year 2015, so we spend Christmas and New Year on the Princess cruise ship, there we had a good, happy time as well.

From the book they made a movie and still, you could watch it on YouTube, for around 10 minutes.

Yet, Australia's history is similar to Canada, however, around the year 1800, England made Australia as

British Prison Colony, whoever committed the crime, if the prisoner chose to go to Australia, instead of going in England the government allowed to do them. Of course, they have to go prison working camps to work there until the prisoner finish the term after that they allow them to have or buy the land and they could live free life there.

So, most of Australia's ancestors were one-time committed criminals, yet, more like political or small crimes.

Charles Dickens called the system Imperialism, yet, the modern society in the movie or book treated difficult ending persons send to the U.S. or abroad to make the end simplify.

Yet, a lot of prisoners came back with money that they made in Australia to England to marry the young good educated the young lady whose parents are not rich enough to find a good husband with great expectations in England.

Also, they had similar problems to the Canadian Aboriginal system, to collected Aboriginal children to try to educate like English system that failed, the children try to run away from the school and want to go back to their parents who lived at Bushy.

The land is Island yet, it is continental in our world, so people who lived there like to travel to America or Europe to get different experience, when we were away we met a lot of them.

At this moment in our life, we really think that we made good decisions to make trip broadly, now it is not possible to do that.

When we want to do at that time, we must act to do, it since life is short and not stays in still.
