OF NOTE

Park becomes just the second player in LPGA history ?and first in the modern era ? to win the first three majors of the season. Babe Zaharias won all three majors player in 1950. She will attempt to become the first player ?male or female ? to win four major championships in one season at the RICOH Women뭩 British Open, Aug. 1-4.

Park is just the fourth player in LPGA history to capture three majors in a season as two other players won three non-consecutively: Mickey Wright (1961) and Pat Bradley (1986)

This is Park뭩 eighth victory in her last 24 starts. She also has five runner-up finishes over that span.

Becomes the first player this season to earn six victories

 

MONEY

CAREER: With the $585,000 first-place check, Inbee will move to 20th on the LPGA Career Money List with $7,374,551

SEASON: Inbee will stay No. 1 on the 2013 LPGA Official Money List with $2,106,827. It뭩 the second time in her career that she뭩 crossed the $2 million mark in season earnings.

 

ROLEX RANKINGS

Will retain her No. 1 ranking in the Rolex Women뭩 World Golf Rankings for a 12th consecutive week
