Thai teen Moriya Jutanugarn and Canada's Rebecca Lee-Bentham shared medalist honors in Sunday's conclusion of the LPGA Qualifying Tournament in Daytona Beach.
Lee-Bentham closed with a 5-under-par 67 at LPGA International to catch Jutanugarn (74), who had a lead or share of the lead after every round of the 90-hole event. The 18-year-old Jutanugarn was the U.S. Women's Amateur runner-up last year. The co-medalists finished at 13-under 347.
Japan's Ayako Uehara (69) finished third at 348. Japan's Chie Arimura (70), No. 19 in the Rolex World Rankings, tied for fifth. Two-time LPGA winner Laura Diaz (72) tied for eighth. Two-time LPGA winner Christina Kim (74) tied for 39th.
The top 20 earned Category 12 status on the LPGA tour next year, the equivalent of full status. The top 45 and ties earned Category 17 status.
