ATLANTA ?Brandt Snedeker had what he called his best round of the year, a 6-under 64 that gave him a share of the lead Saturday at the Tour Championship.
It could turn out to be a round worth $10 million.
Snedeker was tied with Justin Rose, who had a 68, going into the final round Sunday at East Lake. The FedEx Cup has never been more up for grabs among so many top players. Rory McIlroy was three shots behind, and Tiger Woods was another shot out of the lead. McIlroy, Woods and Snedeker only have to win the Tour Championship to capture the FedEx Cup title.
Typical of these playoffs, there was plenty of star power at the top. Eleven of the top 14 players will be at the Ryder Cup.
