For the second straight week, the No. 1 spot in the Official World Golf Ranking is up for grabs.
Rory McIlroy, who ranks second, could unseat Luke Donald if he wins The Honda Classic this week. McIlroy had the same chance a week ago at the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship but he finished second, losing in the title bout to Hunter Mahan.
Lee Westwood is also playing at PGA National but unlike last week at Dove Mountain, he can’t get from No. 3 to No. 1. And should McIlroy win and Westwood finish second, both players would be just shy of Donald.
Donald is not competing at The Honda Classic but is expected back in action next week at the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship at TPC Blue Monster at Doral.
