Woods began his round with three consecutive bogeys, one more than he made through his first 36 holes, and fell behind Australian Jason Day at 6 under. The only good news for Woods was that playing partner Peter O묺alley, to whom he lost in the first round of the 2002 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, was 4 over through three holes.
