Welcome back: Garcia cracks top 20 in OWGR By Ryan Ballengee Oct 31, 2011 12:37 PM ET After notching his second consecutive European Tour victory in consecutive weeks Sergio Garcia is again inside the top 20 in the Official World Golf Ranking. The Spaniard won the Andalucia Masters to improve from 31st to 18th. The two-week stretch comes after a nearly three-year drought for Garcia, whose last win was at the 2008 HSBC Champions. Andalucia runner-up Miguel Angel Jimenez improved to No. 36 from 49th. He began the year at No. 27 after a career year in 2010. Luke Donald remains No. 1 in the world, clear of Lee Westwood by 3.12 points. Rory McIlroy remains third and earned no world ranking points for winning the unsanctioned Shanghai Masters. Dustin Johnson is now the highest ranked American, switching with Steve Stricker for the fourth spot. Webb Simpson moved up to ninth, passing Matt Kuchar. Asia Pacific Classic winner Bo Van Pelt moved to No. 25 and jumped 14 spots. Korean Bae Sang-Moon moved up to 31st from 42nd after his win over the weekend. Phil Mickelson remained 11th and Tiger Woods dropped to 56th.
