Heavy rain in the Atlanta area Thursday forced tournament officials to postpone the first round of the BellSouth Classic before a single shot was fired. The delay makes the BellSouth the eighth PGA Tour event out of 15 so far this year to be hampered by weather delays. The first round is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. ET on Friday, but the forecast calls for a chance of more showers, and both players and officials are already considering the possibility of another Monday finish.
