First up in the Aloha State is the Mercedes Championships, which features only winners from the previous season`s official events. This year 32 players are eligible, as there were eight multiple winners in 2004. Only 31 players are in the field, however, with Masters champion Phil Mickelson skipping the event. Mickelson, who is a two-timer winner of this event, had some fun in Hawaii last November when he won the PGA Grand Slam of Golf with a 59. Kapalua Resort is hosting this event for the eighth straight season.
