The court ordered a recount of the results of the

federal general election  in the Port-Mudi-Koquitlam

constituency in Vancouver, BC, where 153 votes

were split.

The results of the recount of Nellie Shin,

the first Korean to be elected to the canada House of

Representatives, will be decided within weeks.
In the general election count, Shin beat Bonita Jaro

(New Democratic Party) by 333 votes, but the number

of votes dropped to 153 during the election
