Seeking Split Shift Staff for Downtown Kids Academy

Downtown Kids Academy is a daycare facility located in the heart of King West Village.  Featured in the National Post as one of “T.O.s Best Daycares”, we are committed to providing an essential, quality childcare program in Toronto’s hot newest growth area for professional families.

The facility offers a full-time program for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, a total enrolment of 49 children. The programs are designed to offer a unique blend of learning and play, in which the child becomes increasingly self-directed, able and motivated to learn.  We promote school readiness in a fun and creative environment.

Our space is unique, featuring a large, bright, open concept.  Our minimalist environment encourages freedom of thought and creativity – true spacious simplicity. 

Downtown Kids Academy is looking to fill a split shift teaching opportunity. Teacher to work 2 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon.  Students studying ECE, Assistant teachers or RECE’s are welcome to apply.  This position will begin on September 5th. Strong work ethic, with ability to carry out range of tasks required to meet daily routine and program.  As a split shift employee, you would work 8-10 a.m. and then 3-6 p.m. gaining much experience and knowledge working with different age groups. Competitive hourly pay.
